The practice now offers intravenous sedation for those patients with an anxiety surrounding dental treatment. Sedation can be used for all treatment or just for a procedure that could be potentially problematic such as an extraction.

It is important to realise that the sedative can remain in your system for up to 24 hours and for this reason that you must be accompanied for your appointment. We will also give you a list of instructions of things that you must avoid doing whilst under the influence of the sedative.

The charge for sedation is £75 to £150 depending on the length of the treatment. The dental treatment is charged at our normal private rates as displayed on this website. Sedation is also available for patients who are being treated by Dr Simon Dunn when he is placing dental implants.
